- Without sounding wishy washy, my experience (10 years C programming on UNIX, VMS, DOS, Windows), tells me that
- each area receives equal renumeration. My guess is however, that because C programmers are many, they are becoming
- a commodity product. As UNIX systems become more and more obsolete, finding and retaing staff to maintain them will
- be harder and harder. If you're really in it for just the money, then I suggest you become a UNIX guru and hold on for a few years.
- When NT, Windows programmers are '10-a-penny' the rates for UNIX people will soar !!
